*Report found animals to Eastern Shore Animal Control Facility (757-787-7091) so they can log them in their system.  This is the quickest way to help reunite pets with their owners.

*Is the pet wearing identification?  Check the pet over for a collar or tags.  Some owners will write on the collar itself so check that as well.

*Post a photo of the pet to the local Lost Paws Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/282452985108132

*Take the pet to an animal hospital to have it scanned for a microchip.

*Take pet to Eastern Shore Regional Animal Control Shelter - 28167 Beacon Rd, Melfa, VA - 757-787-7091 – Open Tuesday – Friday 12:00 P to 4:00 P and Saturdays 8:00 a – 12:00 p

*Need an animal control officer to come to you?  Call the Sheriff’s Department to request the services of an animal control officer.  Northampton County:  757-678-0458 or Accomack County: 757-787-1131
