Dr. Charles Cameron
Dr. Charles E. Cameron received A.S. Degree from Dean Junior College and a B.A. from Colgate University. He then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and received his D.V.M. His interests include golf, sailing, history and college football.

Dr. Paula Cameron
Dr. Paula Cameron graduated from Auburn School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. She also has a Masters in Immunology and a B.S. in Medical Technology from Auburn. Her medical interests include ophthalmology, oncology and soft tissue surgery. She is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, loves to mentor new veterinarians and technicians and sponsors “The Fun Dog Show” as a local fundraiser. Her favorite off duty activities are gardening, boating and art.

Dr. Nuno Carreiro
Dr. Carreiro is a native of Portugal and grew up in Fall River, Massachusetts. He received a B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. His medical interests include internal medicine, preventative medicine and surgery. Dr. Carreiro and his wife have been living on the Eastern Shore since June of 2007 where they share a home with two dogs, Everest and Kila (key-lah). In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, camping and target shooting with his recurve bow.
Dr. Cynthia J. Johnson-Larson
Dr. Johnson was born in Raleigh, N.C. and grew up in Norfolk, VA. She graduated from Lake Taylor High School in 1988. She attended North Carolina State University on a riflery scholarship and received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1993. She received a Master of Science degree from the Ohio State University in the Department of Dairy Science. Next, she received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in reproductive physiology. She concurrently attended veterinary school and graduated with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. While at Ohio State she had the opportunity to work on several ultrasound oriented research projects on scimitar-horned oryx at ‘The Wilds’ in western Ohio. Also, it was her great fortune to work at the Cincinnati Zoo Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife using the ultrasound to study several species from Boreal toads to the Sumatran rhino.
After graduation, she worked for an embryo transfer company in south western Nebraska. Besides embryo transfer, she also performed artificial insemination in cattle and horses and ultrasonographic pregnancy diagnosis. She spent a year working for a mixed animal practice in central Nebraska. There, she focused on primary care for beef cattle and calves, rodeo stock, stock horses and companion animals. Her fiancée and she moved to Stanardsville, VA where she worked at a small animal clinic in Orange, VA. This clinic emphasized acupuncture and herbal remedies, but was based in traditional medicine. Dr. Johnson married her fiancée in November 2008. She spent a short time working at a small animal clinic in Elkton, VA before moving to the Eastern Shore. Dr. Johnson has a strong interest in wildlife photography, hiking, scuba diving, camping and being outdoors. She also loves to work in her vegetable garden.
